Not everyone is opting for a wintry Christmas, and Hong Kong singer-actress Miriam Yeung is one of them.
On Christmas Day, the 51-year-old took to Instagram to wish her followers a Merry Christmas, sharing a relaxed photo of herself in a sunny city.
“Chillin’ in a super hot spot for Xmas right now! Merry Christmas, everyone!” she wrote.
While Yeung did not reveal the location, netizens and fans were quick to identify it as Penang.
In the photo, she is seen wearing a white short-sleeved T-shirt layered under a black pinafore-style dress, accessorised with a crossbody bag.
The iconic E&O Hotel can be spotted in the background.
Penang Global Tourism later shared the same photo on its Facebook page, confirming that Penang was Yeung’s Christmas getaway.
The holiday comes as a well-deserved break for the singer, who recently held four concerts at the Hong Kong Coliseum from Nov 29 to Dec 2 to celebrate her 30th year in showbusiness.
