Malaysian influencer Sam Lim and actress-model Parisa Ardina are now officially husband and wife, following a private wedding ceremony in Kuala Lumpur.

Rumours surrounding their relationship were finally laid to rest after photos and videos from their solemnisation ceremony went viral on social media on Friday.

Images circulating online showed Lim in a white baju Melayu, while Parisa looked elegant in her wedding attire, with key moments including him placing a ring on her finger and kissing her forehead after they were declared husband and wife.

Their solemnisation was held at the Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) Mosque in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.

Lim, popularly known online as "Sultan Cina", confirmed the news while addressing public speculation. Taking to TikTok, he said their relationship was genuine and not driven by content or publicity.

"Thank you for all the prayers," he wrote in the caption on his social media account accompanied with several photos of himself and his wife.

He also posted snippets of the ceremony on his Instagram Story, though details of the event remained largely private.

Friends and those who attended the ceremony later shared additional photos and clips, fuelling online excitement.

One user wrote, "Parisa has married Sam Lim," capturing the sense of surprise among followers.

Actor Aizat Saha was among those who congratulated the couple publicly.

"Today is not just about two hearts being united, but about two lives coming together in faith.

"Congratulations and may this new journey be blessed until paradise. This responsibility is not just about preserving love, but about building faith together. Welcome to Islam, Sam!" he wrote.

Lim is also understood to have adopted the Islamic name Muhammad Zavian Lim Abdullah.

The ceremony was described as simple and intimate, attended by close family members and friends, where Lim presented the dowry and marriage gifts as part of the solemnisation.

The couple, known for their light-hearted and engaging content on TikTok and Instagram, had long attracted attention for their chemistry. Their relationship had previously sparked online discussion, though they chose to keep details limited until confirming their marriage.

Since the news broke, social media has been flooded with messages of congratulations and prayers from fans and friends celebrating their new chapter together. - Sinar Daily
